Who runs Toquem and the basic rules for using the site, under Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI).

Owner

Toquem is an online service that connects musicians with concert venues and bars to agree on gigs.

Using the site

Anyone can browse the home page and the public pages of musicians and venues. To publish a profile, propose or accept gigs, post in the Community or send messages, you need an account and must accept the Terms of use. Everyone using Toquem agrees to do so in good faith, lawfully and without harming other people or the service.

Intellectual property

The design, code, the «Toquem» brand and the site texts belong to Félix Cavestany Güell. The profiles, bios, photos, posts and links each person publishes are theirs; by publishing them they allow Toquem to show them within the service while they stay published.

Liability

Toquem makes contact and agreement easier, but it does not organise the gigs and is not a party to the performance contract between musician and venue. Each party is responsible for what they publish, for keeping what they agreed and for their legal obligations (permits, copyright, venue licences, employment and tax obligations). Toquem tries to keep the service running without interruptions, but cannot guarantee it at all times.

Profiles may link to third-party sites (Spotify, Bandcamp, YouTube…). Toquem does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content.

Governing law

This notice is governed by Spanish law. If the user is a consumer, the courts of their place of residence have jurisdiction; otherwise, the courts of Barcelona.
